Imperial Opera – Game of the Week
From the heart of the ancient Orient comes Imperial Opera by Play’n GO, a slot with 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 paylines. It’s visually pleasing to the eye and the music along with the sound effects are easy on the ears. The theme is taken from the Peking Opera where all actors wore elaborate costumes and makeup, performing for the Chinese elite.
The actors in Imperial Opera also take centre stage as they are the highest paying symbols in the game, standard playing card symbols and a wild pad out the rest of the field. These are the basics of the slot and of course it’s available on any mobile device as well.
But like every other game, it the special features that makes this one stand out. There are three features in the game, all of which have the capacity to pay out big wins. We’ll go through them one by one so you don’t miss anything.
Imperial Opera Free Spins
First off, reels can randomly synchronise up to 3 at a time on any given spin. This is the only time when the 3×3 sized Free Spins scatter is available. You have to land the entire symbol to trigger 10 Free Spins. Even if you don’t, you can hit some seriously big pay outs if the first three reels synch up since you’re guaranteed to win no matter what. This is where the character symbols really come into their own.
When you trigger the Free Spins game you’ll have 10 spins where reels 2, 3 and 4 are synchronised on every spin. All character symbols are available as Mega symbols on every spin and the Free Spins scatter is also present, meaning you can retrigger Free Spins at a rate of 10 extra spins and there’s no limit on how many times you can do this. In theory you could be playing an infinite amount of Free Spins until the maximum win limit is reached!
The wild symbol is also there as a 3×3 symbol so don’t worry of reel 1 isn’t covered by stacked character symbols. You can still hit a big win!
Imperial Opera Crescendo
Every great performance has to have a crescendo and Imperial Opera is no exception to the rule. The crescendo is a random feature that triggers randomly during the main game. Any spin you can be guaranteed any 2 random reels covered by wilds. Needless to say, this can lead to huge wins if you’re lucky enough to combine the wilds with character symbols.
The crescendo feature cannot trigger at the same time as the random synchronisation of up to 3 reels. It would be totally amazing if this was possible since you would either trigger Free Spins or hit a massive win.
How to get started
As always, decide how much you want to wager per spin, anything from €0.20 up to €100 is possible. You and decide to let the game autospin up to 500 spins or until any win or Free Spins are won. You can also set both win and loss limits inside the game.
It’s also possible to start the Fast Play function manually or in the settings menu in the bottom left corner. If you simply use the “spin” button as a stop button once the reels start turning you will be asked if you want to engage Fast Play. Once engaged you have to go the aforementioned menu to turn it off.
In the menu you can also toggle the sound on or off, turn on auto adjust bet or set spacebar to spin. Whatever your preferences are, there are plenty of ways to play Imperial Opera by Play’n GO. What do you say, isn’t it about time you visit the Imperial Opera by now?
