There’s no shortage of top draw match-ups, straight off the bat, as we look ahead to matchday 1. Roma travels to Madrid to face reigning champions Real, while Juventus get their campaign underway at the Mestalla where they’ll face Valencia. The stand-out fixture of the round, however, has to be last seasons runners-up, Liverpool, who welcome the riches of PSG to Anfield.

Liverpool vs PSG - Halftime/Fulltime Odds Boost

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds will be looking to make a statement against PSG when they visit Merseyside on Tuesday night. The Paris outfit has long struggled in Europe’s elite competition and under new management in Thomas Tuchel, may take a couple of games to get going.
You’d have to fancy the home side to get off to a fast start, so we’ve Boosted Odds on Liverpool/Liverpool – Half-time/Full-time from 3.70 to 4.25.

Benfica v Bayern Munich – Wednesday, Sept. 19 (21:00 CEST)

German champions, Bayern Munich, get their campaign underway in Portugal on Wednesday night as Niko Kovac takes charge of his first Champions League match for the Bavarians. Kovac has made no secret of his love of wide-play, and why wouldn’t you when you have the likes of Robben and Ribery at hand.

Benfica finished rock-bottom of their group last season in the Champions league, notching just a single goal in their six matches and being on the wrong end of a walloping from Swiss side, Basel. It’s probably no surprise then to learn that we’ve Boosted Odds on Bayern to win to nil from 2.65 to 2.90.

Real Madrid v Roma – Wednesday, Sept. 19 (21:00 CEST)

Roma makes the trip across the Med for matchday one as they head to Madrid to take on the reigning champs. Real have won this tournament a record 13-times and have retained their title for the last two seasons running.

There’s no doubt the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo weakens Real, but with likes of Isco, Bale and Modric to call upon, we suspect they’ll be there or thereabouts come May next year, so we’ve Boosted Odds on Real Madrid to win & Over 3.5 goals from 2.40 to 2.60.

Match-Preview-Real Madrid v Roma

Genk v Malmo – Thursday, Sept. 20 (18:55 CEST)

Belgian side, Genk, welcome Uwe Rosler’s Malmo to the Cristal Arena on Thursday evening as these two looks to make a positive start to their European campaigns. Genk saw off Danish opponents Brondby 9-4 on aggregate to reach the group stages, while Malmo edged past another Danish side in Midtjylland to progress.

We fancy goals in this one, so we’ve Boosted Odds on both teams to score from 1.75 to 1.90.

Celtic v Rosenborg – Thursday, Sept. 20 (21:00 CEST)

Norwegian outfit, Rosenborg make the trip across the North Sea in their opening Europa League match as they travel to Parkhead to face Scottish champions, Celtic. It will be a tough ask for the new manager, Rini Coolen, to go and win in Glasgow, but a draw would be a very respectable result given the circumstances.

With this, you’ll find Boosted Odds on the draw and both teams to score from 5.50 to 6.50.

There’s plenty of value to be had, betting on the Champions League and Europa League at Rizk Sportsbook.
