Atletico Madrid – Monaco – K.O. 18:55 CET

It’s hard to imagine how a team that finished 2nd in the league last term and of which includes the likes of Radamel Falcao, finds itself such long odds (13.00 at the time of writing) to win an eleven v eleven game of football.

Monaco’s rapid descent can only be likened to that of an actual lead zeppelin, with new boss Thierry Henry still a few sandwiches short of a picnic on the managerial front.

There’s no value in backing Atletico to win as a single, so, let’s see if the Columbian forward can get on the scoresheet and help this boost come to be.

Atletico & Both teams to score

Tottenham – Inter – K.O. 21:00 CET

When the final whistle blew at the reverse fixture of this one back in September, Spurs fans knew they wouldn’t hear the end of this for a while – Inter scored twice in the last 5 mins to win 2-1.

This could have been a disastrous week for MoPo and Co. but a solid performance at the weekend, ending Chelsea’s unbeaten run, and the prospect of seeking some much sought after revenge over the blue half of Milan, could be the kind of boost the Lily Whites need going into the Christmas set up.

Talking of boosts…

PSG – Liverpool – K.O. 21:00 CET

We’re not going to mention PSG’s horror show they call a Champions League record. Instead, we’re going to tell you why Liverpool should have enough to win in Paris on Wednesday night.

Liverpool plays the kind of football that the Qatar Sports investment group could only dream of (despite spending €500 million on just three players). High tempo, explosive and pleasing to the eye.

Since all the pressure is on PSG, at home and in need of a win, Klopp’s charges can sit back and pick the Parisians off on the counter (which they are well equipped to do). We’re expecting a disciplined defensive display from Liverpool in the first half, and hoping the floodgates will open in the second.

Liverpool to win & Over 3.5 goals

PSV – Barcelona – K.O. 21:00 CET

It’s been a tough old time for the natives of Eindhoven by way of winning Champions League matches. They’re a pretty decent team by normal standards but unfortunately picked the short straw at the Group Stage draw.

The Dutch side have already welcomed Tottenham and Inter to the Philips Stadion and as a consolation, get to watch the likes of Messi Co. romp to another first-place group stage finish.

Only pride on the line for PSV, so for those going to the match: wrap up warm, sing your hearts out and enjoy watching some of the best in the world.

Barca to win & Over 3.5 goals

(was 2.80 NOW 3.25)

Borussia Dortmund – Club Brugge – K.O. 21:00 CET

An interesting, yet, not surprising situation here in Group A. Brugge, in theory, could go and beat Dortmund tonight and Atletico Madrid on Matchday 6, and still not qualify.

That’s because the two teams above Brugge have one more match against Monaco and both only need one more win to reach the knockouts.

Since we already learned how toothless Monaco are this season, it’s fair to say that Brugge will be competing in the Europa League after the turn of the year and may choose to focus their attention on their domestic campaign.

Dortmund to win & Over 4.5 goals

(was 3.70 NOW 4.50)

Those are your Wednesday Champions League Odds Boosts. Stay tuned tomorrow for more price enhancements on the Europa League at Rizk Sportsbook.
