How long have you been working at Betsson & Zecure Gaming?

I’ve worked for Betsson for two years and for Zecure Gaming for 18 months

Tell us about your role

I am Director of Gaming, I oversee Casino, Live Casino, Sports and Poker departments. And all the campaigns, bonuses and developments related to those products. I have a team of twelve people underneath me and we are all very passionate about Gaming and our cool brands.

What do you like most about working at Zecure

I originally joined Betsson as Head of Africa two years ago but after six months, I joined Zecure Gaming when this opportunity presented itself. I like Zecure because we have multiple products, multiple brands and we’re in multiple markets, so there is never a dull day on the Zecure boat.

What is a day in the life of the Director of Gaming

A typical day for me consists of a brisk walk into work, ideally accompanied my favourite coffee. Once in the office, I’ll check and respond to emails and messages, then I’ll have a meeting with the Casino team to discuss latest slots and campaign performance. After a semi-healthy lunch with a fellow member of Zecure, I’ll have a meeting with the Product Development teams to discuss our roadmap and key innovation initiatives, followed by a meeting with Brand to discuss our recent advert campaign.

How do you spend your weekends?

I’ve taken up Padel since I arrived in Malta three years ago, and I now play regularly, competing in two leagues here. In the absence of golf courses in Malta, Padel has become a very popular sport here. I enjoy playing for fun too and I’m always willing to share a court with Zecure employees, and I’ve only lost once.

What are your favorite games on Rizk?

All time favourite sport and team?

I support Tottenham Hotspur as I’m from North London and Paul Gascoigne was my favourite player growing up. Unfortunately, we’ve hardly won anything since 1991 despite playing some excellent football in recent years and having Harry Kane. Victory will taste even sweeter once we do finally win something.
