Why should I complete the KYC process?

Whether you’re boarding a flight or opening a bank account – getting verified is a rite of passage.

Our commitment to offering a safe and secure platform starts with our MGA license. Upholding the standards set by this license involves verifying the identity of our players, but this isn’t just about ticking boxes, it’s about:

  1. Ensuring there is no underage gambling.
  2. Protecting our customers from fraudulent activity.
  3. Preventing money laundering or terrorism financing on our platform.

So, the KYC process is more than just a regulatory requirement. It’s a crucial step in ensuring a secure, reliable, and enjoyable gaming experience for everyone.

We understand that sharing personal details can sometimes spark a few questions, so scroll down and keep reading to learn how we protect your data.

Does the KYC process pose any risk?

If anything, completing the KYC process will strengthen your account’s security for several reasons:

  • It acts as a confirmation of your identity, ensuring no one else has created an account under your name or address (it’s kind of like having a doorman checking IDs, making sure no one can sneak in using your identity). This helps protect your identity online.
  • It ensures smoother withdrawals since we’ll know that the account you’re transferring your funds into is truly yours.
  • It helps us fight illicit activities such as money laundering or underage gambling. This means we can keep our platform clean, legal, and trustworthy.

We all know that the internet can be a crazy place, and even though we’re big on fun and playfulness, we believe you have the right to feel safe and secure while using our website.

VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT

What we need to verify

While the documents required can vary customer-to-customer we typically need to verify the following:

  • Proof of identity
  • Proof of address
  • Proof of payment method(s)

Quick tip: Ensure you frame the documents clearly and capture them in good lighting. We need the shots to be clear and bright, so our team can read the info and get you rolling.

Proof of Identity

We need to make sure the registered account belongs to the same person using it. To verify your identity, you can use a passport or National ID Card.

Make sure all four corners are visible and that you submit both sides of the document.

Proof of Address

The next step is to verify your address. This is requested to ensure that the country listed in the registration process matches the country you reside in. Typically, you can submit a utility bill or any other official document showcasing proof of residence.  Make sure to submit a document that has not been issued more than 3 months ago.

Proof of Payment Method

A proof of payment method is necessary so that we can identify the origin of funds. This helps us prevent money laundering across our platform.

What’s next?

Your documents will be reviewed, and you’ll receive email confirmation that your account has been verified!

How we protect your data

We understand the level of care you hold for your personal data. At the end of the day, it’s a digital extension of yourself that you would only share with those you trust. We take this very seriously and we’re committed to ensuring the highest level of security. Now, hold onto your hats because we’re about to drop some tech talk.

Platform security

We perform an annual penetration test within our cardholder data environment (CDE), which is our dedicated space for all things related to cardholder data or sensitive authentication data, including the people, processes, and technology involved. Our CDE is PCI-DSS certified, which is like having a black belt in data security.

To reinforce our defences, we perform external web application vulnerability scans every quarter. We do this to make sure our partners are as careful as we are with security.

Humans need training too

Our Payment Developers – think of them as the wizards behind our operation – undertake yearly training on secure coding best practices, focusing predominantly on the OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) Top 10. This ensures that we’re always up-to-date and ready to shield your data.
