How to Play Baccarat
At the beginning of the game, you place your bet on either of the three options and then press deal to start. To win, a hand needs to be as close to nine as possible. All cards from 2 to 9 are worth their face value, while cards ten and up are worth zero. Meanwhile, Aces are worth one point.
In live Baccarat, the maximum value a hand can have is nine. Any double-digit hands will only use the second digit. For example, a hand containing an 8 and a 7 would be worth five points. After the first two cards are dealt, the hand values are totalled, and if either hand has an eight or a nine, it wins.
If your hand has a value of between zero and five, you'll receive a third card. If your hand is worth either six or seven, you'll stand and wait for the banker. The banker follows the same rules if you stand. However, they follow other rules if a third card is drawn. These rules are as follows:
• If the banker's total is 2 or less, then the banker draws a card, regardless of the player's third card.
• If the banker's total is 3, then the banker draws a third card unless the player's third card was an 8.
• If the banker total is 4, then the banker draws a third card if the player's third card was 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7.
• If the banker's total is 5, then the banker draws a third card if the player's third card was 4, 5, 6, or 7.
• If the banker's total is 6, then the banker draws a third card if the player's third card was a 6 or 7.
• If the banker's total is 7, then the banker stands.
Live Baccarat
Live Baccarat is just like regular online Baccarat, only with real cards and a real dealer. When you play online Baccarat, you're playing against a computer program. This program uses a random number generator to determine which cards are dealt.
